Jaymor 10% Bond Update Closing…

We wanted to post a quick update in regards to the closing date of the Jaymor Capital 10% Bond. As you know, we have been communicating that a closing date for this bond was set for mid-September. It has been extended till the end of October due to delays in the release of the next bond issue. We are told the next bond issue will be out by the end of October at the very latest and the Capital 10% bond will close immediately. The next bond issue is going to be paying a lower rate of return in the neighborhood of 8% to 8.5%. If you were thinking of adding any more funds (RRSP, TFSA, Non registered etc.) then now is the time to do it. Earning 10% with 2 years and 8 months till maturity is an excellent rate of return with a short time period till maturity.

The top posted bank rates for 3 year GICs are in the neighborhood of 2.35% while the average rate of return (3year) on a Canadian equity fund is 3.57% and the TSX (3 year) is 6.10%. As you can see, 10% per year for less than 3 years of time is a very good rate of return with no stock market volatility and a fixed monthly rate of return.

If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate as time is running out.
